Kansas Specific Reports can be found on the Department for Children and Families (DCF) website.
Child Welfare Outcomes, an annual Report to Congress published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides information on state performance in seven categories of outcomes that are widely accepted performance objectives for child welfare practice. The Report also includes findings of analyses conducted on performance across states and over time. Users of this data site will be able to explore the outcomes, demographic, and context data contained in the Report and generate customized reports by state and year.
The KIDS COUNT Data Book is an annual ranking of states on 16 key measures of child well-being published by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The Data Book also highlights important trends, such as the growing issue of income inequality or the improving health and educational achievement of U.S. students.

A wide variety of research topics can be viewed on their site including state and national data on child maltreatment, foster care, kinship caregiving, permanency, and older youth in care.
